A Kiwi-style cafe in the Highlands of Scotland offering cakes “made with love, skill and passion”. Cakes are baked every day to ensure they are always fresh and delicious. It’s easy to be overwhelmed with the cake display bulging with New Zealand & Scottish influenced treats. Chef Kirsten travelled to San Francisco to study the secret to incredible bread at the San Francisco institute of baking. Of course, the cakes live up to this: whisky fruit cakes, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, truffle mousse cake, berry and lime drizzle, chocolate and beetroot, zucchini, carrot and seed loaves and so many more. Whilst many people will only visit once as they explore the Highlands, it’s the kind of place that inspires thoughts of relocation. |
