Enjoy afternoon tea in this gorgeous, high-ceilinged hall on white linen covered tables adorned with fresh flowers, whilst a piano player soothes you with beautiful music. This is the ultimate in elegance, old English style.
The Pump Room is located in the same building as the ancient Roman Baths, voted by the Royal Institute of British Architects as Britain's most romantic building. Built in 1795 by Thomas Baldwin and John Palmer as the focal point of Georgian society, the Pump Room remains at the social heart of the city of Bath and the world renowned spa water flows from the fountain overlooking the natural hot spring under the same roof.
All food is sourced locally and cooked from fresh ingredients to order. Menus can be adapted to suit special diets wherever possible on the day or with prior notice. The Pump Room offer a special range of gluten-free options including a delicious traditional cream tea. Children of all ages are welcome and high chairs and children's menus are readily available. |
