| So close to the city centre, yet this incredible hotel feels like it is miles away. On its wide crescent the hotel overlooks parkland and has a large private central garden as well. Afternoon tea can be taken in the drawing room, in the main house, in the bar, restaurant or in the house on the far side of the garden. As expected from a hotel with such character; the service is impeccable. Alongside the usual scone, a Bath Bun also comes nestled in the white folded napkin to keep them both warm whilst the sandwiches are consumed first. A wide range of small patisserie finishes off the afternoon tea, surely something amongst them to please every sweet tooth. |
