Description

Housed in the oldest building in Bath, beneath this multi-roomed tea house is an excavation site where archaelogical digs from late last century found differing materials of floor from centuries past. If you dine in the house you are welcome to go down and have a look around and buy some buns to take away or souvenirs from the little kiosk as well. There is a small charge for non-dining customers.

Counting itself as the originator of the unique Bath buns, Sally Lunn's buns are indeed infamous and not quite like the other versions available in the region.  The menu, sweet and savoury, revolves around the buns, including the main meal offerings.  The most popular, and deservedly so, is the cinnamon bun.  Simply scrumptious!
