| This self-described “British coffee shop” is a calm oasis nestled in a charming Hampstead side street. Inspired by farmers markets and artisan producers across Britain, the cake menu is comprised of classics including lemon drizzle loaf, Eccles cakes and the classic Victoria sponge. Families or ladies who lunch can settle at the rustic communal table within a modern and uncomplicated yet heritage British interior. Worn floors and slouchy leather couches work in with modern light fixtures and monochrome hues. A muted-tone painting of the British flag hangs high on the wall. Cakes can be accompanied by sublime Square Mile coffees, and savoury fare and condiments - including homemade peanut butter - are also available. |
