The iconic Waldorf Hilton offers a unique afternoon tea package that includes an historical tour of the hotel. Beautifully made sandwiches, pastries, cakes and scones are complemented by a range of tea blends, and afternoon tea is served in the Homage Patisserie - formerly the hotel's smoking room which is lined with rich wood panelling and velvet seats. Soft piano music from the foyer adds to the classical ambiance. The hotel also hosts tea dances in the beautiful Palm Court, a backdrop so grand it inspired the ballroom set of the movie, Titanic.
