Minamoto Kitchoan offers a highly traditional Japanese cake and confectionery experience. The high-quality wagashi (a Japanese term for confectionery) is made using only natural ingredients - often entirely from plants. Treats are accompanied by a short description of the ingredients within. Once chosen, these are served with a complimentary green tea. Chocolate lovers can prepare to delight in the Chocolat Mochisyocramochi, comprised of pure chocolate wrapped in rice cake topped with cocoa powder. Traditionally Japanese in layout, the minimal white walls are complemented by clean-lined glass displays showcasing painstakingly prepared sweets. Japanese rock gardens, quirky mobiles and vivid kanji prints add an individual touch. As you would expect, take-home souvenirs come meticulously packaged.
